Agglomerator Machine

Agglomeration Machines used for physically transform loose plastic material into chips suitable to be fed the hopper of an extruder.

Agglomerator is a kind of recycling equipment, which is used for various plastic such as PVC, PP, LDPE, HDPE, and bags, wires, belts, sheets, pipe waste etc.

Agglomerators use the principle of frictional heat generation, which can directly crush various forms of plastic into pellets at a time. It works on the principle of rapid pulverization, continuous stirring, friction heating, plasticization, cooling and shrinking with multiple tools; after the waste is put into the machine pot, the material is quickly cut into pieces by the high-speed rotating blade and the fixed blade. The chopped materials flow along the inner wall of the pot under the action of the centrifugal force of the rotary cutter disk, and at the same time, the materials are turned up and down, moving from the surrounding to the centre of the pot. Due to the friction between the materials themselves and the friction with the pot wall and blades at high speeds, a large amount of frictional heat is generated, so that the temperature of the materials rises rapidly to a semi-plasticized state, and they adhere to each other into small pieces. These pellets produced from agglomeration machine can be directly supplied to extruders and injection moulding machines to produce products.
